Israeli military strikes and shelling continue across southern Lebanon despite ceasefire arrangements negotiated with US involvement.

Recent attacks have hit communities and infrastructure in southern Lebanon, while Israeli forces continue to maintain a military presence inside Lebanese territory.

The continued attacks have placed further pressure on civilians and weakened efforts to establish lasting stability. Lebanon has repeatedly demanded an Israeli withdrawal and implementation of ceasefire commitments.

Instead of bringing a durable end to hostilities, the ceasefire framework remains under severe pressure as Israeli attacks, destruction and military occupation continue to fuel instability in southern Lebanon.
